City Parks is located at Landis Ave. and Railroad Blvd. There are four small individual parks. The Civil War monument is located at the North East Corner park, and was erected by the Lyons Post #10 in 1911.

There is a statue of a soldier and sailor. They felt that the soldier was not an authentic reproduction and they refused to pay until it was corrected. The South East corner contains the Lucina Park, the South West corner has the torpedo park, and the North West corner has the artillery park.
